Seget Donji

Seget is located not far from Trogir.

Gornji Seget is inland, while Donji Seget on the sea, constructed as a symmetrical, closed, square community.
In 1564, the nobleman Jakov Rotondo from Trogir received permission to construct a tower, and the village was established around the mid-16th century.

In Gornji Seget, located 5km away, there are a large number of medieval plaques and tombstones around the Chapel of St. Vitus (XII-XIII centuries).
 Seget Donji

A square Renaissance tower (dating back to 1516) constructed by the Statilic family from Trogir stands in the field between Seget and Trogir, in addition to a large number of chapels and archaeological remains.

A Gothic illuminated crucifix from the 14th century and a wooden triptych, works by Blaise George from Trogir, are housed in the Baroque parish church from 1758.
Because of its location and moderate climate, the locals today mainly make their living from agriculture, fishing, shipbuilding and, of course, tourism.
